Back to Nail Challenge Collaborative!

I am going to try to keep this word light and pic heavy.  Let's see how I do!

After taking a hiatus from the Nail Challenge Collaborative, I have begged my way back into the group for their Untrieds challenge this month.  Between this and The Glitter Pirates Neverending Pile challenge that starts next month, I am going to bang out some awesome polish that deserves to grace my tips!

I really ended up liking this springy mani, but it did cover up my untried more than I expected.  I <3 it anyway.

Pahlish Drink the Sea - 3 coats
This is a GORGEOUS springy gellie filled with all kinds of glitter.  It is described by the maker as "Squishy turquoise base with chartreuse microglitter, small seafoam metallic glitter, metallic gold dots, and medium neon green matte hex".  It was a little sheer (to be expected with a gellie) and required 3 coats for DMP full coverage or two coats for IRL coverage.  You could, of course, reduce that by using undies.  Isn't she lovely?  And I love the name!  I couldn't find this currently in their store, so I am not sure if it is discontinued or not.  I will try to find out and let you know.

Next I stamped with BM-016 and Konad Special White.  I am going to try to also use stamps/techniques that are untried during this challenge too!

After stamping I added some little violet flower sequins and gold micro beads to the center of the flowers.

I loved this sooo much.  I think it is because I am beyond ready for spring!  Here comes the pic spam!

So, whatcha think?  Surprised this languished in the Melmer for so long?  Is it only a spring color or can you see it being seasonally appropriate other times of the year?  Need to clear out a few untrieds yourself?  As always, thanks for visiting and commenting!
