The Last NAGG

So it took me a few extra days and I did skip a couple of days, but with this post, the amazing Nail-Art-A-Go-Go is done.  I have mixed feelings with it ending.  Now I have to inspire myself....and now I get to inspire myself.  Back to AIS, Fashion Friday, Swatching Saturdays and one or two weekly challenges that I have been missing out on.  Haven't decided which ones yet, but there will be a couple.

The last prompt is art nouveau.  I usually tend to prefer darker, vampy colors, but this has been especially true while I was sick.  Dark, metallic and darker was the trend.  This one followed that trend.

I don't know why cloud manis call the art nouveau style to mind, but it does.

Sephora by OPI 212-Sephora, 2 coats.  This was one of my first polish...hmm, what word should I use....I want to say crush, but that just isn't strong enough?  Let's just say that it was my first wet pantie polish.  At this point in my hoarding, I hadn't discovered the really complex polishes because I had not yet delved into the world of indies.  I picked this one up at Sephora on a whim.  I had perused the Sephora polishes, and the ones I liked were the high end expensive ones.  The SOPIs just weren't calling to me and the idea of paying extra $ just because it had the Sephora name on it didn't appeal to me either.  However, this dark brown flashed some purdy sparklies in the bottle, so I figured I would give it a try.  When I swiped it onto my tips, I had my first nailgasim.  Dark brown filled with red flakies, holo particles and a gold shimmer?  *gasp*  I think I had this on until the wear started to show, removed it and applied it again immediately.  That must tell you something about how much I loved it!  Although I now have polish in my stash that I think is more stunning than this, 212-Sephora (despite it's abysmal name) will always hold a special place in my heart.

The first layer of "clouds" was Ozotic Shattered 910, another stunner, this time a gold scattered holo.

Next a layer of my second favorite texture polish of all time (so far), OPI What Wizardry Is This.  Want to hear me gush about this one?  I wrote a review on it while on pain medication that is a bit "over the top".  You can find it HERE.

Finally one more cloud with Nails Inc Noho.  Unfortunately Noho's texture didn't play well with What Wizardry, so I probably could have gotten away with a plain black creme.  Oh well, it just went with the whole "some of my favorites" theme I had going.

Thus ends the Nail-Art-A-Go-Go challenge.  So much fun, so much work and now it is all over.  Feels a little like Christmas day after all the presents are opened.  A big shout out to Missy for all the hard work she put into hosting this challenge.  Loved her before, love her even more now!

Before you go, tell me what you think.  Are cloud manis Art nouveau-y enough?  Do you like all these dark colors together?  Do you have a "first" polish like I do?  Do you have a favorite from this challenge?  Let me know in the comments!  Thanks for stopping by!
