Chroma Chroma Chroma Chroma Chroma Chameleon

It's Monday!  Hate Mondays at work.  Phone never stops ringing and everything is an emergency.  But here on the blog it is all fandom and sunshine because it is Monkey See Monkey Do Monday!

Today's manicure is inspired by Jenni at Celestal Nails.  Check out her beautiful nails HEREAnd here is my "recreation".

I was the same as Jenni, wandering my local Walgreens polish section when I spotted the new Revlon Chroma Chameleon collection.  Fully stocked except for the one I really wanted (Rose Gold) of course.  "Hmmm...Do I need any of these?  Some of them look similar to others in my stash....I am trying to cut down on my dupe purchases....Okay, maybe just a couple.

I ended up getting Aquamarine and Tanzanite.  You can never have too many purples or blues (tee hee).  When I got home and swatched these lovely in the bottle polishes I was a little disappointed.  Aquamarine looked a lot like another polish I have (some Piggy Polish, don't know the name right now) and Tanzanite was pretty....but....I don't know....I just wasn't feelin' em.
Then I saw Jenni's post and I was sooo happy I picked them up.  I REALLY wish I had the Rose Gold now!

I started with my new favorite black, Finger Paints Black Expressionism.  I plan on posting about this black sometime this week, so watch for it.

Next I stamped with Tanzanite and Aquamarine and PUEEN45, rotating the image on each nail and with each color just to get some randomness.

For some reason this reminds me of the eighties.  I had a black sweater with these colors that I wore all the time.  And with a name like Chroma Chameleon, I had Karma Chameleon playing in my mind the whole time I was taking pics.  Right now too!  Want to join me?

Thanks for joining (and hopefully enjoying) my madness.  Check out the other MSMD manis and send some love to those who inspired us.

Now that that's out of the way, they look great. I love the purple and blue.

    1. Thanks Jenni and thanks for the inspiration! I really thought these were going to go to the back of my drawer, but now I see so much potential in them.

    2. Same here. When I first tested them they looked so shear on the plate I was afraid they were duds, but the minute they hit the practice rocks. I couldn't have been more thrilled. Total worth the price.
