AIS New Years

Sorry I have been missing.  Not that I haven't been doing nail stuff, just no blogging.  Been making nail swatches.  But I have joined the Adventures in Stamping Facebook group in order to continue to challenge myself.  They "share" on Sundays, so I will be posting on Sunday's too.  Looking for other challenges/groups to join in order to keep my mojo flowing.

Today's theme is, of course, New Year.  Here is what I came up with.

Don't know why stars shout New Years to me, but they do.  And yes, this is matte.  And yes, my nails are shorter.  I broke 3 nails on my right hand on Christmas Eve (boo hoo) and felt silly with short nails on my right - long nails on left.  Here's how I did it.

•  2 coats Sinful Colors Black on Black
• Stamped with Sally Hansen Insta Dri Silver Sweep and Konad M5 
• Stamped with Bundle Monster BM21 dotted with both Essie Good as Gold and Revlon Copper Penny
• 1 coat of NYC Matte
• Attached some little silver studs I got in a Christmas embellishment wheel I got on clearance at Sally's Beauty with top coat (probably won't stay on long, but I like them anyway)

This didn't turn out exactly how I envisioned.  I wish I used pink instead of the copper.  There just wasn't much delineation between the copper and the gold, but I still like it.  Hope you do too!
