My Monkey Does Flowers

Monday means another Monkey See Monkey Do challenge from Crumpet Nail Tarts.

I was inspired by one of my favorite nail bloggers, Marta from Chit Chat Nails.  Check the original gorgeous mani HERE.  Her's is so much better than mine!

This started with two coats of LVX Legendaire.  This is a gorgeous dusty lavender.  However, it was not a very good self leveler, as you can see from the pics.  Although it is pretty, I wish I had picked a brighter color.

Next I sponged the tips with Sally Hansen Silver Sweep.  In Marta's version, she used silver foil, which I really wish I had in my stash.

Next I stamped with M76 and Konad Special Black.

Finally I dotted with China Glaze Splish Splash and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Lightening.
