This was created with the two polishes that came in my April Julep Maven box. I once again neglected to photo the the base by itself, but the stamping does not cover it completely.
I started with two coats of Julep Millie. Julep describes this as a "vintage indigo creme". I consider it a grayed blurple. It is one of those colors that some see as blue and some see as purple. On top of that, it seems to change colors in my eyes. In some lights it looks like a grayed purple. In others it looks like a dusty dark blue. It also depends on what colors it is adjacent to.
By the way, although I used two coats, I could have used only one and it makes it a great stamping polish.
Next I stamped with Gals GA30, from their 2013 collection, and Julep Alice. Although it is hard to tell over Millie, this is a frosty lilac color. If you want to see it on it's own, check my post HERE.
Although I only used half of this stamp (I wanted the tips to be free tee hee), this image is big enough to cover my entire nail. My idea was that I wanted it to look like moonlit clouds in a dusky sky. What do you think? Did I achieve that?
Thanks for looking and feel free to check out all the other stamping manis.
