Saab Perfection on Fashion Friday

Ever have a vision in your mind of how a mani will turn out, only to have it fall short in execution?  This is NOT one of those!

I love this!  Why?  It soooo matched what I had in my head!  It was inspired by this Elie Saab gown.

I have had this in my fashion inspiration folder for quite awhile.  I kept looking at it, but felt like I couldn't do it justice.  Then I got my new PUEEN plates and saw this image.

So the wheels started turning.

I started with two coats of Avon Ballerina.  I am not a nude jelly polish fan, but this one is lovely.  It has a slight peach tint to it, and I have to admit I have a weakness for peach.  It applies like a dream.  It is my favorite nude.

If you look closely at the dress, you will see some gold netting.  To recreate this I stamped with China Glaze and m74.  I put a small dot of polish at the edge of the above image and stamped randomly.

Next I stamped with the above PUEEN21 and Zoya Kristen, a lovely pale greyed blue.  I basically wanted this to provide a base for some freehand "art".

I added some swirls with Zoya NYX.  This texture polish was perfect for this!  Now I have to admit, my freehand needs some work, but because this is a texture polish, it was a little harder to work with.  I DON'T CARE!  Can you tell I am happy with this?

Finally I added a few pale gold studs as a "shout out" to the beading on this lovely dress.  What do you think?  Do you like it as much as I do?

Thanks for looking!
Tina
