Love for Bria

Today is the second of The Nail Challenge Collaborative's May STAMPING challenge.  It is in my head to show how versatile stamping is.  Last week I showed that you can stamp with regular old polish, even on a dark base, as long as you choose the right colors.  Today I want to show that even simple stamping can be beautiful, especially when each finger gets it own stamp and those fingers are Bria's!

This mani is all Bria.  She chose the stamps, the colors, everything.  Think she has nail art talent?  I have been trying to convince her that she should do my nails, but she hasn't gotten up her courage yet.

We started with two coats of Illamasqua Devotee.  This is the first Illamasqua polish I have owned, and I love it!  Not only is it a lovely shade of bubblegum pink with a wax finish, but it applied like a charm.  I was a bit concerned after the first coat, as it was a bit streaky, but the second coat covered all flaws.  If you look closely you can see a bit of visible nail line, so if that kind of thing bugs you, just add another coat.

Although I love the wax finish on this, the pink polish I used for stamping - Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Speedy Sunburst - really needed a top coat so it would not blend too much with Devotee.  All the others were stamped with Konad Special Black.

Thanks for looking!
Tina
