Finger Foods Oriental Nail Art

Today I have a mani for the Finger Foods Theme Buffet.  The prompt is Oriental, suggested by Dawn from Sassy Little Nails.  There are a lot of things I could have done with this prompt because....well, I have a lot of oriental stamping images :)  I thought bamboo or pandas or cherry blossoms.  This is what I ended up with.

Yup, just some koi fish, but with some really gorgeous polish.

With Flash
Artificial Light

I started with three coats of Revlon Elusive and top coat.  It was fully opaque at two, but I wanted a little more depth with the glitters.  This is what I wanted Emily de Molly Black Forest to be like.  One of those rare times that a mainstream outshines an indie.

You might have noticed that I indicated I used a top coat.  This is why.  Some may like it with this matte finish, but I like it better shiny as it allows the glitters to shine through.

Next I stamped with Messy Mansion MM09 and...Of course I didn't write it down!  Some metallic orange.

That is all for now.  Thanks for looking and commenting!
