Day 14 Crumpets 31 DC - Stamping

The theme of day 14 of Crumpet Tarts 31 Day Challenge is STAMPING!  My "specialty".  I decided to use the same technique I used for my wreath mani found HERE as a half moon with stamping.  Here's how it turned out.

Isn't it amazing what macro shows that you don't see IRL.  The gap in the striping on my middle finger didn't show at all, except in the pics of course.    Let's start with the base.

This is one coat of OPI Every Month Is Octoberfest.  The final mani had two coats, but I wanted to show you one coat to give you an idea of the nature of this polish.  At one coat it looks purple with a maroon shimmer.  The first coat goes on patchy, but the second coat covers all sins.

I forgot to take a pic of the second coat alone, but here you get the idea.  After the second coat this polish has a maroon color to it that has depths that can't be captured with my camera.  Want a better look?  Check the swatches HERE or HERE.  I stamped repeatedly with Bundle Monster BM04 and Ozotic Shattered.

Now this is the fun part, removing the hole reinforcers.  I never know how it is going to look, for some reason.

I added the black stripe because I felt there wasn't enough definition to the half moon.   If I had it to do again, I would actually paint the half moon the same color as the stamping, so there would be even more definition.

That's it, simple, quick and easy.  It has taken me longer to post about this mani than it did to do it, which is unusual for me.  Now check out the other stampers!
