NAGGDay17 - Animation

I have been hit by a virus...FAST and HARD.  The kind where you are fine and suddenly, within a half hour, your whole life changes.  This means that I am playing a bit of catch up for the Nail-Art-A-Go-Go challenge.  Hopefully I will be caught up by tomorrow, since it is my day off and I will have more time to devote to nail art/blogging.  Today is going to be a quick post for yesterday's prompt, Animation.

I know that this isn't really animation, but when I think animation, I think cartoons.  When I had my major nail brake last week at work, I put on this band aid to try and protect it from catching on things and ripping all the way off.  I though it was so cute, I decided to use it for this prompt.

I started with two coats of FingerPaints Pop Art Purple.  It is a bit less red than it shows in my pic and matched the purple of the band aid perfectly, but my camera freaks at neon colors.

 





















I stamped thumb, index and ring with MM09.  I wanted to put a palm tree on my pinkie, but even with all my plates, I couldn't find a single palm tree image.  If you know of a plate with a good palm tree image, let me know.  Instead I used the waves from Sugar Bubbles SB 007
