Day 6 Crumpet DC - Matte

So today's theme is your favorite color family and because I always have to do things my way, I chose Matte as my favorite color.  Anyone who has been haunting my blog knows that I have been seriously obsessed with Matte polishes.  I was inspired by Lucy at Lucy's Stash HEREHere's what I came up with.

I started with two coats of a new polish to me, Layla Ceramic Effect Soft Touch Effect.  The bottle I have only has the number 07 on it, although I have seen it called Queen Bordeaux on other sites.  I finally found a bunch of Laylas at my local Ulta.  I had heard that Ulta was carrying these, but this is the first time I had seen it.  I LOVE this polish.  It is a deep burgundy matte.  Although you can use a matte coat over any polish, no matte coat can match the beauty of this finish.  Want to see what I'm talking about?  Click the pics below to see.

Then I added some funky french tips with China Glaze Stone Cold and dotted with China Glaze Gold Fusion.  Want to see some more?  Sure you do!

A simple mani, and if I were to do it again, I would make the tips a little smaller, but it is matte, so I LIKE IT!  Now check all the other favorites.
